Welcome to Weldon C.E. Primary School website.

Weldon C.E. Primary School is situated in the village of Weldon (pop:3000) and is in the north of the County of Northamptonshire. The school is very popular and children attend from the villages of Weldon, Priors Hall, Great Oakley, Oakley Vale and Corby.

We are a good Church of England Primary School having received national awards for academic success, work with the community and the environment, as well as Healthy Schools Award, FMSIS, Active Mark, Active Young Citizenship Bronze Award and ECO Silver. We had an Ofsted inspection in March 2014, the report can be viewed on our documents page.

We believe in developing all children to their full potential and have many extra curricular activities and visits which enrich the teaching and learning. We aim to provide a rich education suiting the needs of every child.

We have a good and experienced Governing Body who work hard to support us in many ways, a dedicated team of staff fully committed to the school, and a successful PFTA who organise a variety of fundraising and social events throughout the school year. We have links with our local church and we welcome our local priest, Father Colin, into school each term to lead a school assembly.

In line with Government recommendations we offer full 'wrap-around care' which includes a breakfast club and an after school club. Please view our Extended Services page for more details.

I encourage and welcome you to visit our school where you will see happy children and lots of smiling faces. Please contact the school office on 01536 265288 or email bursar@weldon-ce.northants-ecl.gov.uk

Weldon Church records show there has been a school in the village since 1700.

We have adopted the church tower as our logo and our children proudly wear it on their uniforms.

We have an ICT suite with computers, laptops, notebooks and I-Pads. The suite is regularly upgraded with the latest hardware and software.

We have a fantastic school library with over 4,000 books and our stocks are regularly kept exciting with the latest releases.

Every classroom has an interactive whiteboard which class teachers use daily to deliver/present their lessons.
